Trends- The Return of the Choker

The return of the 90s crop tops, palazzo pants, maxi skirts and dresses has been seen everywhere so it would only make sense that the statement necklace, the choker, would be making a comeback in the fashion scene. Chokers are going to be the necklace of choice for next year. Celebrities and trendsetters have already been seem spotted in super cool chokers around the globe.

The choker may sometimes look harsh and overdone, but if you mix a choker with the right kind of outfit, it will look stunning. For example, a subtle diamond choker will look like perfection with a delicate cocktail dress. There are a couple of guidelines to consider when wearing this statement necklace:

Firstly, keep it subtle. A choker is already a strong statement piece so choosing the biggest one is not always ideal.  Secondly, wearing a strapless top or dress will give the choker all the room and attention it seeks. Do not over accessorize. Finally, you will want to stay away from patterned clothing . Keep the attire simple-don't overshadow the necklace with an over the edge outfit.
