Crop tops are no longer seen as a tacky 90s trend but being embraced in a new trendy light. This style trend is making a huge comeback from the runway to your closet. Today, showing some skin is still very much ladylike and stylish as long as its styled correctly. Crop tops are the perfect example of a basic top making a huge statement.

Style Tip: Team up your crop top with a sleek high-waisted skirt for the optimal chic look that only shows a skim on skin. Embrace colour this season with bold colored crop tops paired with white or neutral color bottoms and color-contrast accessories for a trendy street look. Make sure to keep your look chic and classy. When styling the look, keep your bottoms classy. Opt for a pencil skirt, high waisted shorts or skirt or a maxi skirt. Showing too much skin can make the look out-dated and tacky.

Red Look of the Day

Spotted: The lovely Kate Bosworth at Chateau Marmont for a pre-Oscars bash.

Bosworth embraced a more modest look for the event. She wore an embroidered Stella McCartney sheath which was simple and classy. She added a bit of color to the look with burgundy Miu Miu pumps. Her shiny JewelMint box clutch completed the look. This look was young, fresh and still very much glamorous.
