Red's Best of 2011

Best Red Carpet Pastel

Blake Lively is no stranger to the red carpet. She arrived  to the British Academy of Film and Television Awards 2011 in a stunning light grey Marchesa gown. Her look gives off a feminine and sensual vibe. The draped trail and gauzy layer both adds a bit of drama to the gown and perfectly complements her figure. She paired the gown with Christian Louboutin heels and Lorraine Schwartz jewels. She was spot on with her hair and make-up as she went neutral with her make-up and opted for a loose braid up-do to complete this ultimate feminine look.

Enjoy wearing soft shades and pastels this season for the ultimate in glam appearance!

Red's Best of 2011

Best Minimalistic Approach on the Red Carpet

Emma Stone was all peachy on the red carpet for the 2011 Golden Globe Awards. The actress who wore a Calvin Klein collection dress took a minimalist approach with a sherbet-hued classic design that was simple, yet exquisite. Her Ferragamo nude python peep toe pumps were spot on with the look. A little bit of sparkle was added to the look with  Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry. She pulled her hair back and opted for natural makeup. She kept her look elegant, simple, and minimal. Sometimes less is so much more!

Red's Most Memorable on the Red Carpet

Olivia Wilde captivated the 2011 Golden Globe awards in a strapless coffee brown Marchesa ballgown.
The actress sparkled in the gold sequin gown. She accessorized the dress with gold-colored dramatic Christian Louboutin heels and a Judith Leiber clutch.Normally, with a strapless gown, I would have liked to see her long blond tresses up but she pulled off the look with her chic blunt bangs. Her smoky eye makeup and frosted pink lip gloss suited the look perfectly. She definitely drew in all the attention. She looked like a movie star princess!

Best Red Carpet Bright

Nikki Reed made an impressive statement at the Premiere of Breaking Dawn. The actress brightened up the carpet in an electric neon Michael Kors gown. If the color did not grab the attention, the side cutouts, the completely open back and the thigh-high slit sure did the job. She polished off her look with Guiseppe Zanotti high heels, and accessorized the look with M.C.L by Matthew Campbell Laurenza earrings and a Juidith Leiber clutch. Her sleeked back ponytail and makeup suited the dress perfectly. On the whole, Nikki's premiere look was outstanding.

Brighten up your wardrobe this season with some neon brites!

Best Red Carpet Mini Dress

Jennifer Lopez stunned in this bright silver Emilio Pucci sequinned mini dress at the 2011 Grammy Awards. She was glowing in this look from head-to-toe, showing off her super toned body. Her dangerously spiked Christian Louboutin pumps and Swarovski crystal clutch polished off her shining look.

Sequins are no longer just for the holidays. Opt for a fitted sheath dress with all-over metallic sequins. Finish the look with fierce spiked pumps and an embellished silver clutch. Your confidence will soar in this outfit!

Sexiest Red Carpet Dress

RED hot! January Jones wore this red Versace fringed gown to the 68th annual Golden Globe Awards. The deep v-neck cut-out gown was a show-stopper. She paired the gown with the designer's patent heels and satin black clutch. The starlet polished the look with old Hollywood waves. She oozed with a classic elegance mixed with a sexy modern edge.
This January, be Red. Luxurious red dresses are a crazy beautiful color this season and can be super flattering with the right cut. Show your best assets in a racy cut out dress, or show your classy side with a posh draped gown. If you are feeling brave, opt for a trendy one-shoulder cocktail dress.  Red dresses are for women who like to stand out!
