Red Look of the Day
Spotted: Solange Knowles DJ'ing at the Salvatore Ferragamo's Fifth Avenue Flagship Re-Opening in New York City.
Knowles opted for the color-block route as she slipped into the Ferragamo Spring 2012 runway look. Her look had a chic and feminine essence. Her beautiful mane of curls added to the overall fun look. She accessorized the colorful look with gold cocktail rings and clutch. Knowles is definitely becoming a style star.
When in doubt, wear Red xx

Red's Best of 2011
Best Minimalistic Approach on the Red Carpet
Emma Stone was all peachy on the red carpet for the 2011 Golden Globe Awards. The actress who wore a Calvin Klein collection dress took a minimalist approach with a sherbet-hued classic design that was simple, yet exquisite. Her Ferragamo nude python peep toe pumps were spot on with the look. A little bit of sparkle was added to the look with Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry. She pulled her hair back and opted for natural makeup. She kept her look elegant, simple, and minimal. Sometimes less is so much more!

Red Fashion Vixen- Audrey Hepburn
Audrey Hepburn remains to be one of the greatest actresses and style icons of all time. Although modest about her style, wearing clothes that were comfortable and casual, she still remains to be relevant in this day of every-changing fashion. Her "little black dress" from Breakfast at Tiffany's, designed by Givenchy remains to be a fashion staple inspiration in every fashionista's closet.
The Audrey Look
Audrey's style consisted of key staple fashion items. Firstly, was the her little black dress-you will want to purchase a black plain dress that you can accessorize with pearls as she kept her jewelery minimal, but pearls were one of her favorites. Her white blouse was a second staple that she made famous-buy one that is plain and ties at the front. Her style consisted of wearing both short and long scarves to accessorize her casual outfits, or to tie around famous hats-you will want to purchase these scarves in neutral colors to match with a variety of outfits. A Pair of Flats is a must, or a pair of Ferragamo heels that she both adored to wear. To complete your Audrey wardrobe other style staples to consider are a black or white turtleneck, capris and 50s inspired skirts. For the finishing touch you need a pair of fabulous oversized black frame sunglasses.
Classy, glamorous and comfortable are the key ingredients in achieving the Audrey Look. In considering how to emulate her look today, I have chosen a small wardrobe of pieces to achieve a modern day version of the icon's timeless style.
